Submissions: On the Home Stretch
If you’ve submitted material to Waiting for October, you should have heard from us by now. If you haven’t, please drop us a line ASAP at peteandpetezine@gmail.com!
If you got an extension or we requested revisions, your final materials are due TODAY, JUNE 1. We will be posting the final lineup—and starting layout planning—tonight, so, if your piece isn’t in by then, it’s probably not going to make it into the zine.
If your work is accepted, you have until JUNE 30 to send us your name as you’d like it to appear in the zine, a brief (50 or fewer words) bio (including any websites or projects you want linked), and the mailing address where you’d like us to send your comp copy. If you do not send us a bio by June 30, we will make one up for you. We are not kidding about this.
Right now, we’re shooting for a mid-to-late July release date, with pre-orders going up in late June or early July. We’re hoping to throw some kind of release party in Portland, but we’re still very early in the planning stages of that part.
